Interview Prep Questions

So, you’ve prepared for your job search, updated your resume, and applied for numerous positions, and now you’re just waiting for that call to come in to interview.  What should you do now?  Well, the best thing to do is to begin to prepare for the opportunity to interview!

Interview prep is imperative to acing the first impression that you will make with a Recruiter or Human Resource Manager in an interview.  There are many things to consider when prepping for an interview, and one of the best pieces of advice I can give to anyone searching for a job or new career path is to do your homework!

Definitely review and think about possible questions that an interviewer may ask you.  What are your weaknesses?  Why should we hire you?  These and many more questions may be asked in an interview, and giving thought to these questions ahead of time will allow you to answer them with ease and confidence. 

This article, “Answers to 10 Most Common Job Interview Questions” on Monster gives a great general review of some of the questions asked by interviewers and hints about how you should answer.  All of these questions may not be asked on an interview, but being over-prepared is a lot better than being under-prepared!
