We are currently staffing for assemblers for a client in Salisbury, MD. 

 

Roles and Responsibilities of an Assembler:

  • Responsible for assembling kits using a safe, efficient manner in accordance with work instructions
  • Ensuring product is free of defects and debris
  • Maintaining a clean and neat work environment to ensure workplace efficiency and safety
  • Associates are expected to work and communicate respectfully with all departments and team members
  • Will be counting, picking and packing medical supplies into kits
  • Other Duties may be assigned by supervisor/manager

Qualifications of an Assembler:

  • Good Hand and Eye Coordination
  • Able to Count, Pick and Pack

Dress Code:

  • Wear comfortable clothing
  • Wear comfortable Shoes
  • Must Wear Hair Back
  • NO OPEN TOE SHOES
  • NO LOW CUT OR SEE THRU TOPS OR OFFENSIVE CLOTHING
  • NO MAKE-UP OR JEWELRY

Hours : Monday through Friday 7:00 am – 3:30 pm

Responsibilities for an Electronic Assembler:

  • Must be able to consistently and efficiently perform all duties of the position with specifications and within quality and productivity guidelines of each product and/or process
  • Responsible for following all processes and procedures so that a quality product is produced on time
  • Inspect parts to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Perform assembly tasks such as using a soldering iron, Solder Reflow Oven, Microscope
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment at all times following at a minimum all OSHA guidelines

Currently seeking an Industrial Plater for a temporary to permanent job opportunity with an established manufacturing company in Cambridge, MD. 

Responsibilities for an Industrial Plater:

  • Responsible for the pre-plating processes and post-plating processes for electronic packages produced and/or sold
  • Must be able to consistently and efficiently preform several of the duties of the position within specification and within quality and productivity guidelines of each product and/or process
  • Must be able to preform several of the following; prepping of parts, barrel plate, clean for ship salvage, rack plate-gold room and/or CuSn line cleaning of built parts and rack maintenance
  • Must keep tanks cleaned and filled as needed
  • Complete and maintain required documentation such as time cards, travelers, TMI’s, plating process cards, wiring tickets, and engineering and quality sheets
  • Handle chemicals in a safe manner, be able to identify chemicals by color codes, symbols and know the purposes of each, utilize and understand the Material Safety Data sheets (MSDS) and able to identify and understand HMIS labels for health hazards, flammability hazards, reactivity hazards and other of all chemicals
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Notify Department Lead or Operations Manager of problems or abnormalities that may occur

Additional responsibilities of an Industrial Plater:

  • Assist the training of new Associates
  • Able to work in in other departments throughout the facility
  • Preform Housekeeping duties such as painting, mopping, sweeping, etc.
  • Assist in the start up and shut down operations of the plating tanks, changing filters of the tanks and filling and emptying of the rinse tanks
  • Wire and unwire parts on racks and on staking and/or brazing pole cans

Job requirements of an Industrial Plater:

  • MUST be able to lift 50+ lbs for long periods of time
  • MUST be able to start immediately
  • MUST have high school diploma or equivalent
  • MUST have a clean background
  • MUST be able to pass a drug test

Responsibilities for a Production Assembler:

  • Responsible for the assembly and secondary operations for electric packages produced and/or sold
  • Must be able to consistently and efficiently preform all duties of the position with specifications and within quality and productivity guidelines of each product and/or process
  • Responsible for following all processes and procedures so that a quality product is produced on time to both internal and external customers
  • Read and interpret blueprints to ensure proper revision, correct materials and parts, correct fixture, etc. are available
  • Follow blueprints to assemble parts by hand or using equipment provided (i.e. shaker loaders, tweezers) in an individual setting or in a group cell environment
  • Inspect parts to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Load and unload parts from fixtures and furnace as needed
  • Complete and maintain required documentation such as time cards, travelers, quality sheets, production sheets, etc.
  • Preform intermediate assembly tasks such as Seal Test, Bead Blasting, Sanding, Soldering, tiebar, shearing, etc.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment at all times following at a minimum all OSHA guidelines
  • Notify appropriate Management Representative of problems or abnormalities that may occur

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Assist the training of new Associates
  • Able to work in in other departments throughout the facility
