Duties and Responsibilities:

Filter Assembler

  • Manufacturing work environment
  • Assembly of chip and wire miniature filters using solder techniques
  • Assembly of cavity filters
  • Assist engineering department in the development of prototype systems
  • In process inspection and self-inspection
  • Kitting and preparation of materials using Bill of Materials
  • Preliminary prep work such as coil winding, tinning
  • Installation of feed-thru pins to housings
  • Die attach of chips components using silver epoxy or solder
  • Solder and epoxy sealing

Hybrid Microelectronics Assembler

  • Assembly of microwave sub-assemblies using hybrid techniques
  • Assembly of micro-miniature filers using solder techniques
  • assist engineering department in the development of prototype systems
  • In process inspection and self-inspection
  • Kitting and preparation of materials
  • Preliminary prep work such as coil winding and tinning
  • Installation of feed-thru pins to housings
  • Die attach of chip components using silver epoxy or solder
  • Microelectronic bonding and welding using thermo-compression, thermo-sonic and resistance welding techniques
  • Solder and epoxy sealing

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge and understanding of modern hybrid microelectronics manufacturing processes
  • Ability to work under the microscope for extended periods of time
  • Ability to use microelectronics wire bonder and parallel gap welder(Hybrid Assemble)
  • Excellent manual dexterity
  • 5 years minimum direct experience
  • Knowledge of manufacturing standards
  • Knowledge of inspection standards
  • Knowledge of Quality Assurance standards
  • Good soldering skills ability
  • Ability to use paste epoxy
  • Must be able to read blueprints
  • Consistent past work history
  • Pre -employment drug test and background check
  • Hours: 7a-3:30p
  • Pay: based on experience and determined by the client

  • Complete and maintain required documentation such as time cards, travelers, TMI’s, plating process cards, wiring tickets, and engineering and quality sheets
  • Handle chemicals in a safe manner, be able to identify chemicals by color codes, symbols and know the purposes of each, utilize and understand the Material Safety Data sheets (MSDS) and able to identify and understand HMIS labels for health hazards, flammability hazards, reactivity hazards and other of all chemicals
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Notify Department Lead or Operations Manager of problems or abnormalities that may occur
  • Pay: $10.50
  • Required to work 4 ten hour shifts per week

  • Load and unload parts from fixtures and furnace as needed
